be awesome. learn a sport. join a team.
No one does Ultimate like Warren Ultimate Club! For four years we have been learning a sport, excelling in school, and building strong friendships in our community and beyond.
Never played? Easy to learn. Not too athletic? No problem.
Busy? You can play one season or all four. Competitive? 3rd in state last year. Bring a friend? Yes, please. Is it for both girls and boys? Yes, co-ed. Cost a lot? Small fee each season.
Come try it for 2 weeks--no obligation.
What Is Ultimate?
Where and When is Practice?
Ultimate is America's fastest growing youth sport. Played with a flying disc, teams of 7 try to pass the disc down the field and catch it in the endzone to score a point, or intercept the disc and go the other direction. Games are usually to 13 points or 75 minutes, whichever comes first. It moves fast, is excellent exercise, easy to learn, but difficult to master. We do skills and drills, conditioning, and scrimmage at most every practice.
We are a student club at Warren Central HS and also work with Middle School students throughout the year.
What About Ultimate Gear?
We will give you a free 175g Ultimate disc for joining the team if you don't have one.
Soccer style cleats really help on the turf and are safer than tennis shoes. You can buy some or borrow some--we have a few pair on hand. In Winter season we wear tennis shoes indoors.
Mondays and Thursdays from 3:15-5:30pm at the Warren Central field on 16th St, beside the girl's softball stadium and near the Performing Arts Center.
What Do I Bring?
Bring a smile, a water bottle, tennis shoes or cleats if you have them , and a white shirt and a dark shirt.
